Cindy Lowe, M.A., AMFT

Registered Associate Marriage  and Family  Therapist - License # 137710

Cindy Lowe graduated with a Master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel University, San Diego.

Cindy and is currently working toward her clinical licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and as a Registered Play Therapist.

Cindy works under the clinical supervision of Raphaella Croccia, LMFT, RPT-S specializing in child and family therapy.

Cindy has worked as a school counselor providing psychoeducation and facilitating the development of socio-emotional skills to elementary-age children through Play Therapy and Creative Arts. In her work she utilized a variety of interventions such as non-directed Play Therapy, Sand tray, music therapy, puppets/role playing, storytelling and expressive dance. The interventions utilized helped students to improve their self-esteem and self-efficacy (self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in his or her capacity to execute behaviors necessary to produce specific performance attainments), resulting in better classroom adjustment and higher academic achievements.

The positive experience Cindy had with the students reinforced her desire to become a child therapist and her belief in the benefits of early intervention mental health programs.

For the past year Cindy has been working with Raphaella Croccia at Child Therapy San Diego and has accrued over one thousand clinical hours of experience providing psychotherapy to children.

Outside of work, Cindy has additional years of experience working with kids as a church summer camp leader and director, and teaching kid's Sunday school.

Cindy enjoys hanging out with her husband, her two children, their Goldendoodle Oslo and Lop bunny Totoro.
